The Federal Communications Commission held a vote on Thursday, dismantling the widely controversial ‘Net Neutrality’. The rules, heavily supported by Corporate giants such as Google and Facebook, was enacted in 2015 under the Obama administration. With much panic and speculation about the future of freedom on the internet, many took to the airwaves to debunk fears, including the F.C.C commission chairman:
“It involved a basic concept of how the internet is governed” Ajit proclaims. “Do you want it to be governed by engineers and entrepreneurs, or do you want it to be run by beurocrats and lawyers here in Washington?”
