In what seems like an attempt to dip into the ever growing populist movement around the world, Angela Merkel is now pushing against the refugee problem she created by calling for a ban on full-face veils.
In a meeting with the Christian Democratic Union, Merkel backed banning burqa “wherever it is legally possible” such as schools and courts.
