Multiple Philadelphia police have been shot after being called to Nicetown-Tioga neighborhood for narcotics activity. The 5 officers are being treated at nearby hospitals for non life-threatening injuries.
Sergeant of the Philadelphia Police, Eric Gripp said Wednesday via Twitter:
Update: Philadelphia shooting suspect, Maurice Hill, surrendered to PPD after over 8 long hours of a shooting standoff. The shooter called his attorney during the gun battle to ask for advice. The attorney, Shaka Johnson, talked him into surrendering. “He did not want this to end violently. … I told him you got to surrender now”, the attorney stated.
A total of 6 officers were injured. The injuries were non-fatal. One officer could have been killed after he suffered a graze-wound to the head, according to Philadelphia’s mayor.
President Trump provided comment on the situation:
During a Press conference, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney blasted the NRA, calling for stronger gun restriction. “It’s aggravating, it’s saddening, and it’s something that we need to do something about and if the state and local governments don’t want to stand up to the NRA and some other folks, then let us Police ourselves”. The mayor continued, “Our officers deserve to be protected and they don’t deserve to be shot at by a guy for hours with an unlimited supply of weapons and an unlimited amount of bullets.”

Why doesnt the mayor deal with his disrespetful citizens harassing and throwing things at the police during the standoff than blasting the NRA for his criminal citizens.
What a joke! It’s not the drug dealing thug, but the NRA that is to blame? No wonder they can’t get a handle on the gun violence in Philly.
Actually, they should have shot and killed the animal in Philadelphia and the crowd was no better, no respect for life and it sure does say something regarding their character!! Also, on how they were raised and by whom!!
The media and cultural hate groups have taught these people to act like victims and thugs, instead of taking control of their lives and acting like adults instead of teenagers with an attitude.
The only thing the videos they are shooting, is to reinforce their own bad behavior.
They will be the first to complain if the police stopped patrolling their streets and they are the victim of a crime.
The police are your best protection, unless you think the drug dealers, the cartels, the mob or your moms can do a better job.
You have an image problem. Even your music these days is about bad behavior and breaking the law and sex, sex, sex.

I know many fine upstanding peopel, including african americans who have come from tough places and they are doing it right.
The guy shouldn’t have ever had a gun and too many others just like him, that’s a fact. But I sure am glad I have some guns for if people like him ever cause me trouble. Thank you and have a great day.
